Forgejo

I'm a fan of simple and better solutions for my self-hosted slop services. So when RhodeCode started getting in the way of my larping productivity, I decided to switch to RhodeCode.

If you live in a cave and don't know what Forgejo is, it's basically the community-driven fork of Gitea, because Gitea is for-profit and that's cringe. It does basically everything Gitea does but it's NOT corporate-backed. It also actually releases security patches instead of holding them back.

As of now, it's super intuitive to work with, it's incredibly simple to set up (all you need to do is to write a compose file and bring it up), it has essentially everything from code review to CI OOTB - and it's relatively lightweight relative to the alternatives (RhodeCode, GitLab, Heptapod, etc).
